Abstract
This article evaluates the technical and economic efficiency of using drip irrigation technology in cotton production in Uzbekistan. Based on field observations, timekeeping, and economic calculations, the study analyzed the technical and operational indicators of drip irrigation technology, including water, mineral fertilizer, and electricity consumption, as well as its economic outcomes. The research results demonstrated that drip irrigation technology enables the efficient use of resources and improves the economic outcomes of cotton cultivation. At the same time, it was found that the effectiveness of the technology varies depending on regional and farm conditions. The study substantiated that when evaluating the effectiveness of drip irrigation technology, it is necessary to comprehensively consider technical and operational indicators, investment and operational costs, and economic outcomes, alongside resource savings.
