Abstract
This study examines the digital transformation of Uzbekistan’s tourism sector, focusing on tourism development, digital infrastructure and regulatory policy. The findings show significant growth in tourist flows, tourism infrastructure and Internet access. However, the development of digital infrastructure does not necessarily ensure effective technology adoption by tourism enterprises. The study identifies enterprise-level adoption, system integration and data-driven management as key challenges. It argues that Uzbekistan’s next stage of tourism digitalization should prioritize integrated digital platforms, electronic payments, CRM and PMS systems, Big Data and artificial intelligence to improve tourism efficiency and competitiveness.
