Abstract
Sustainable wellness development requires integrated approaches that combine natural resource efficiency, environmental sustainability, institutional governance, and regional socio-economic development. However, existing studies largely address these dimensions separately, limiting their integrated assessment and practical application. This study develops an integrated scientific framework for sustainable regional wellness development through the efficient utilisation of natural resources. The research employs systems analysis, conceptual modelling, comparative analysis, and multidimensional index-based evaluation. The framework comprises three complementary components: the Re-Creation Environment Model (REM), which explains the interactions among natural resources, governance, digital innovation, and wellness development; the Eco-Wellness Resource Efficiency Index (EWREI), which quantitatively assesses regional resource efficiency and sustainability potential; and the Eco-Wellness Cluster model, which translates theoretical principles into coordinated regional implementation. The framework is further illustrated through the Green Pulse pilot concept. The proposed framework integrates ecological, economic, social, institutional, and digital dimensions into a unified analytical system, providing both a theoretical contribution to sustainable wellness research and a practical decision-support tool for policymakers, researchers, and regional authorities.
