Abstract
Developing professional competencies in higher education requires aligning traditional knowledge accumulation with dynamic, application-oriented frameworks to meet modern labor market demands. This study synthesizes international theoretical models, European Commission key competency frameworks, and Uzbekistan's State Educational Standards (SES) to analyze the structure of physical education teacher preparation. Key competencies comprise cognitive, communicative, and operational dimensions. Integrating professionally oriented digital teaching technologies, interdisciplinary links, and continuous feedback mechanisms bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical pedagogical execution. Fostering adaptable, non-adaptive activity through modernized curricula ensures physical education specialists successfully transition from static skill sets to comprehensive professional competence.
